Sales Operations Manager - Full Time

Our growing company is seeking a Sales Operations Manager, responsible for organizing the sales process and coordinating across departments to ensure customer orders are quoted, executed and delivered on time. This position will report to the SVP of Sales and work closely with the management team. A qualified candidate would possess a college degree and a minimum of five years experience. Position is located in our brand-new downtown San Francisco offices, close to public transportation. Our environment is fast-paced, creative and vibrant.

We are the dominant player in pet apparel, and also have a strong business in collars, harnesses, bowls, etc. Founded in 2000 in San Francisco, we are an established company with a great reputation in our industry.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Manage the sales operations team and oversee all post-sales operational functions from proposal to product delivery

- Act as primary liaison between Sales, Production and Operations teams to ensure customer needs are met

- Manage the sales pipeline - communicate key information to cross-functional teams, oversee RFP/quote process and item set up needs

- Manage day-to-day operations - customer samples, PO management, returns

- Research and resolve issues related to late deliveries, invoice discrepancies, product and packaging variances

- Secure client compliance, testing and inspection protocols. Analyze and identify potential challenges

- Partner with the production team to monitor factory compliance and audit processes

- Partner with our overseas sourcing office and freight forwarders to ensure timely delivery of Direct Import orders

- Create project plans and manage timelines for international buy trips


- Bachelor’s degree required

- 5+ years sales/operations/supply chain experience

- Strong knowledge of MS Office suite (Excel, Powerpoint, etc)

- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced corporate environment

- Flexibility with regards to job responsibilities

- Effective interpersonal and organizational skills; especially working directly with senior level executives

- Impeccable communication skills across all channels

- Excellent discretion, judgment, tact and diplomacy

- Must demonstrate an energetic, positive, helpful demeanor

- Passion for pets is a plus!
